The day began with our team members scattered across different locations, capturing the bride and groom preparing for their big day. In a beautiful little church in Binghamton, our team was able to connect with the couple and their family by speaking a few words in French Creole (Patois) that we remembered from growing up in St. Lucia. Even though we didn't understand most of the conversations, the love and warmth in the air were palpable.
The ceremony itself was a beautiful blend of Haitian and American traditions, with the couple exchanging vows in front of their loved ones. From the stunning wedding attire to the elegant church decor, the entire event was something out of a storybook. After the ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests moved to a stylish reception venue, where the festivities continued.
One of the highlights of the day was the incredible cuisine – a mouthwatering fusion of Haitian and American dishes that delighted everyone present. As we captured the joyous moments, we couldn't help but appreciate the beauty of black and white wedding photography.
